Join fellow U of T alumni and friends for a discussion on "The Italian Teacher".
Join fellow U of T alumni and friends for an evening with U of T alumnus and author, Tom Rachman (BA VIC 1997), as he discusses his new book The Italian Teacher at McNally Robinson Booksellers. The Italian Teacher is a novel about art, family, loyalty and authenticity set in Rome in the 1950's. With his signature humanity and humor, Tom Rachman examines a life lived in a shadow of greatness, cementing his place among his generation's most exciting literary voices.
The book talk begins at 7:00 pm. Preceding the book talk, U of T alumni and friends are welcome to gather at Fionn MacCool's (located across from McNally Robinson Booksellers) at 6:00 pm to network and enjoy some refreshments. Appetizers and one drink will be provided; attendees are responsible for any additional food and beverages ordered.
Your alumni representative and event organizer, Romona Goomansingh (PhD OISE 2009), will be there to welcome you. If you have any questions about this event you can email regional.programs@alumni.utoronto.ca.
