Join a conversation about the contributions women faculty make to university life with St. Mike’s alumnae Drs. Gabriella Colussi Arthur (9T9), Professor Emerita and Senior Researcher, Department of Languages, Literatures and Linguistics, York University; Kathryn LaFontana (9T1), Chief Academic Officer of Ursuline College; Cathy Driscoll (8T5), Professor Emerita (Management), Sobey School of Business, St. Mary’s University, Halifax; and Theresa O’Keefe (8T5), Professor, Clough School of Theology and Ministry, Boston College.

Panelists will reflect on their careers, share the joys and challenges of their work and consider the various barriers faced by women academics and strategies to overcome them. Together, they will also explore the unique contributions of women academics, particularly to student mentoring and institutional development.
