Child creating digital pet

PA Day – DigiPets is a one-day, hands-on workshop for students in Grades 3/4 and 5/6 that invites young innovators to design, build, and program their very own digital pet. Using beginner-friendly coding platforms and electronic components like sensors and LEDs, participants will bring their creations to life with unique behaviours and interactive features.

Throughout the day, students will explore key concepts in coding, electronics, and engineering design thinking while developing important skills like creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. They will learn how to make their robotic pets respond to user input, whether it's lighting up, moving, or making sounds!
