Mariel retired from the university after a distinguished career as a professor of French, Associate Dean of Humanities, and Principal of Woodsworth College. But since her retirement in 2007, she’s never really left Woodsworth. As a volunteer, she has championed the Summer Study Abroad program, serves on the Principal’s Boundless Campaign Advisory Committee, and remains a strong advocate for the college and its students.
