Paul Huyer

Paul Huyer was first elected by the College of Electors on July 1, 2021; he is currently serving from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024.

As a chartered professional accountant and senior financial professional, Paul Huyer has had a successful 30-year career in the finance industry, retiring from the TD Bank Group in 2011. His significant volunteer experience includes current service on the boards of Start2Finish Canada and Strides Toronto. Previously, Mr. Huyer served on the Board of Regents of Victoria University where he was Chair from 2010-14 and on the boards of Triathlon Canada and Yorktown Family Services. In 2014, he received an Arbor Award in recognition of his volunteer service to the University of Toronto. He holds a BComm from the University of Toronto (Victoria College).
