Things We Dare Not Do: Hot Docs Film Screening & Q&A

Pride @ U of T

Join us at Hot Docs (virtually!) for a screening of Things We Dare Not Do – a story that follows Ñoño, living on a small, sheltered island in Mexico, as he works up the courage to tell his family that he wants to live life as a woman. After the screening, you are welcomed to join fellow alumni for an exclusive, live Q&A with the film’s director, Bruno Santamaría Razo, moderated by Juan Carlos Mezo González (PhD Candidate, History and Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies) and Ferrin Evans (Media Archivist, U of T Libraries), all from the comfort of your couch!

Please note that this is a two-stage registration process. Once you have completed registration through U of T, follow the instructions in your confirmation email to secure your “seat” for the film screening!

U of T actively supports LGBTQ2+-related issues and research. We host events like this to foster a fun, social and inclusive LGBTQ2+ community so watch your inbox for e-vites and updates
