Somen has been an active volunteer at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, where he helps to inform the department's strategic vision and advises on industry trends, alumni engagement and advancement. He is also on the U of T Entrepreneurship Leadership Council and a mentor for the Hatchery.
