Important Tax Year-End Procedures

We would like to thank you for considering a gift to the University of Toronto. In order to ensure you receive a tax receipt for 2019, please be advised of the following:

By Mail: Gifts must be postmarked no later than December 31, 2019.

Online: Gifts must be received no later than December 31, 2019. You can make your gift online up until midnight (Eastern Standard Time) on December 31.

Gifts of Securities: Gifts must be received in our account no later than December 31, 2019. For information on making gifts of securities, please call 416-978-2214, or toll-free at 1-800-463-6048, or you can email geoffrey.berry@utoronto.ca.

For gifts made in person/by courier: The University of Toronto will be closed in observance of the holiday season (beginning at 5 pm December 23 – January 3). If you must make a gift in person or by courier over the break, please bring it to the Division of University Advancement during our holiday hours at the following address:

The Division of University Advancement will be open to receive gifts over the break during the following days/hours:

• Monday, December 30, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, December 31, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday, January 2, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Friday, January 3, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
