Need help to keep your kids reading? U of T alumnus Kenneth Oppel (BA 1989 TRIN) has your back. Though schools and libraries may be closed for a while, the award-winning children’s author is stepping into the gap by posting readings from his books nearly every day.
Listen to excerpts from stories like Silverwing, about an adventurous bat, or a chapter from the inventive Inkling, about a drawing that comes to life.
Oppel studied English and cinema studies at U of T’s Trinity College, and even wrote a book (The Live-Forever Machine) while a student here.
