Join the U of T community in Vancouver for a reception and an engaging talk on responsible AI-assisted discovery, delivered by U of T Assistant Professor Karina Vold, a philosopher of cognitive science and artificial intelligence.

Whether through accelerating the creation of life-saving drugs or powering innovation in business, AI is increasingly becoming a part of our everyday lives. As one of the world’s thought leaders on the topic, Vold argues that we must develop methods for how humans can use the extraordinary powers of AI to find innovative solutions that meet today’s most pressing challenges.

This exclusive talk will draw on a range of fields including philosophy, psychology and machine learning research to show how this might be done.
