How do students today engage with AI tools, where do the greatest opportunities lie, and what do we need to consider as educators?
This special conversation features Dr. Lydia Cao, Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at OISE, and a valued member of the University of Toronto Schools (UTS) AI Advisory Committee. The conversation will be hosted by Dr. Leanne Foster, Principal, and Jill Strimas, Acting Dean of Academics at UTS.
Dr. Cao's research explores artificial intelligence in education, computer-supported collaborative learning, immersive technologies (XR), and knowledge building. Join her as she discusses what current research is revealing about how students engage with AI tools, where the greatest opportunities lie, and what we need to consider as educators.
The event will be live-streamed and a recording will be shared afterwards.
