Join fellow U of T alumni and friends for an evening of music.
U of T alumni and friends are invited to Soulpepper's Spoon River performance!
Making its premiere in the US, Soulpepper Theatre Company's award-winning adaption of Spoon River brings vibrant life to Edgar Lee Masters' poems of the dead. The residents of a sleepy mid-west graveyard return to share their funny, gritty, and touching memories to curious passersby. It's a moving piece of original music theatre, adapted by Mike Ross and directed by Albert Schultz.
After the performance, U of T alumni and friends are invited to an exclusive meet and greet with Executive Producer and U of T alumna, Kendra Bator (BA 2001 SMC), Cast Member and U of T alumna, Hailey Gillis (BA 2013 UTM), Producer and U of T alumna, Lisa Li (BA 2006), and members of the cast and creative team. Following the meet and greet, there will be a reception for all of Spoon River's supporters and cast members in the front lobby of the theatre.
Registration deadline is Thursday, July 6, 2017. If you have any questions about this event, please email your alumni representative and event organizer, Karen Papazian at karenpaps@gmail.com. For more information about other Soulpepper on 42nd Street events during the month of July, click here.
