The University of Toronto's Black History Month Luncheon returns with dynamic speakers and compelling performances! This annual event has become a long-standing tradition that celebrates Black excellence while providing a welcoming and inclusive community space.
U of T Advancement’s Black History Month Luncheon returns with prizes, performances and an address from the award-winning former TV personality, Tracy Moore who will be celebrated for her trailblazing work in broadcasting, her commitment to diversity and inclusion, as well as her dedication to volunteer work within the community.
Other guests include a spoken word performance by Toronto's inaugural Youth Poet Laureate, Shahaddah Jack a Bilingual social activist and poet and a special appearance by New Orleans' own Ne'Kiya Jackson and Calcea Johnson, known as the "Pythagoras Girls".
