Dr. Caroline Power (MEd 2011 OISE)

Dr. Caroline Power is an industry-leading Workplace Learning Thought Leader with over 20 years of global experience. She is the Founder and CEO of CDNHR Group, which spans 14 cities across Canada and operates through its three divisions; Canadian HR Academy, Sensitivity Training Canada, and Worldwide Workplace Learning.
Power brings deep expertise in Employee and Leadership Development, Talent Management, Workplace Wellness, Organizational Behaviour, and Operational Risk Management.
She has been named to Canada’s Most Powerful Women Top 100 by WXN. Power was also awarded Wilfrid Laurier University’s top ’30 in 30 Award’ in the Professional Development and Lifelong-Learning category. Universal Women’s Network has recognized her for the inspiring force that she is and that organization bestowed upon her their Inspire Award. Power has also been named to the 100 Accomplished Black Women in Canada list as well as having been announced as an RBC Hero for International Women’s Day, by RBC Royal Bank of Canada. Power is a former post-secondary Academic Chair in Ontario and in Nova Scotia. She has been an adjunct professor since 2006. Since 2004, she has sat on Boards of Directors and her experience as a Board Governor spans multiple sectors, including, healthcare, financial services, and social services.
She holds a Master of Education (M Ed) degree in Adult Education from the University of Toronto, an MBA degree in Corporate Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Administrative Studies (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management from York University, Western University’s Richard Ivey School of Business post-graduate Executive Development diploma, as well as a PhD.
