2013 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Shirley's leadership at UTSC is noteworthy for her ability to engage stakeholders and lead new initiatives. As president of the Management and Economics Students' Association, she reinvigorated the LIVE Conference by convening a board consisting of past conference chairs. Shirley also expanded the group's reach by adding more external and philanthropic initiatives. Indicative of her stature at UTSC, Shirley was chosen to speak at the opening of the Instructional Centre for which she had been a strong advocate for students.
