Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2011 recipient

Danielle Cooper is a leader at the Faculty of Information and beyond. She is a representative on the Faculty Council, a co-organizer of its student conference, and, as a participant in the interdisciplinary collaborative program in sexual diversity studies, she synthesizes the perspectives of information studies with concerns of the LGBTQ community. An assistant at the U of T's Sexual Representation Collection, Danielle acts as a mentor to work/study students. As well, she has interned at the Lesbian Herstory Archives in Brooklyn, N.Y., and at the Pride Library at the University of Western Ontario.
