2009 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Marie-Helene Irvine is education vice-president for the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Students and Interns (CAPSI) and a member of the Professional Development Week 2010 committee. She has previously served the Undergraduate Pharmacy Society as both senior and junior CAPSI representative. Marie-Helene has been involved in co-coordinating community educational initiatives such as Operation: Wash Up and Operation: Allergy. She is currently a mentor in the Pharmacy Mentorship Program. Recently, she created a national sexual health outreach program through which pharmacy students are able to educate high school students on emergency contraception and the HPV vaccine.
