2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Suzy Yim has ensured that the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work is positive space. Former executive for Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Trans People of the University of Toronto (LGBTOUT), Suzy has continued her work by coordinating and hosting events to welcome sexual diversity at the faculty and across campus. The master's candidate also served as a Coordinator of the 2006 and 2007 World AIDS Day. In this role, she invited community leaders spoke with students, staff and faculty about the experience of living with HIV/AIDS.
