2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Ali Istchenko serves as Chair of the Mechanical Engineering Club, which represents her 650 fellow undergraduate mechanical engineering students. She has been active with Skule Nite, serving as Stage Manager last year and as a member of stage crew for the previous three years. Ali was Director of Cannonball, the Engineering Society's annual semi-formal dinner dance; Vice-President of Finance for the Engineering Student Societies' Council of Ontario and responsible for feeding over a thousand people during frosh week in 2004. Ali also plays intramural Ultimate Frisbee, lacrosse, broomball and field hockey.
