Nominations for the 2018 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Awards are now closed
Any member of the University community (staff, faculty members, alumni and students) may nominate a candidate.
The Cressy Awards recognize students in their final year of study, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70, who have made outstanding volunteer contributions for at least one year to the University and the wider community.
The 2018 Award recipients will be recognized at a celebration in the spring of 2018. Details will be posted as they become available.
Nomination packages must be approved by the candidate and submitted to the relevant Nomination Coordinator no later than Friday, November 17, 2017. Nominations to the University-wide Selection Committee must be submitted no later than Friday, December 8, 2017.
FIVE STEPS TO NOMINATE A STUDENT FOR A CRESSY AWARD
Consult the Eligibility Criteria for the award, before submitting a nomination, to determine the suitability of the candidate.
Refer to the List of 2018 Nomination Coordinators to determine where to submit your nomination.
Obtain the candidate’s approval of the nomination package.
Submit the nomination package to the relevant Nomination Coordinator by Friday, November 17, 2017. Nominations to the University-wide Selection Committee must be submitted by Friday, December 8, 2017.
Nominations may be made to whichever Coordinator the Nominator feels is most appropriate; however, only one nomination is allowed per candidate.
Please DO NOT submit additional copies to other Nomination Coordinators.
