Paul Russell has been a generous supporter of Hart House, the University of St. Michael's College and the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library. In addition to his philanthropy Paul has been chair of the Hart House Film Board and a member of the Art Committee (1961-1964), Graduate Committee (1993-1999), Alumni Committee (2000-present) and Gallery Club Committee.
