2010 Arbor Award Recipients

Dr. Randy Lang, a lecturer in undergraduate and graduate orthodontics for more than 30 years, was instrumental in launching the U of T Orthodontic Alumni Association in 1997, and he has been a tireless co-president (with Dr. Angelos Metaxas) ever since. Every year, Randy and Angelos chair one or two executive meetings, an annual scientific session featuring an internationally recognized speaker and alumni receptions at orthodontic meetings in Canada and the United States. His and Angelos' involvement with the Orthodontic Alumni Association has helped raise more than $100,000 for the orthodontic department.
