2009 Arbor Award Recipients

For over ten years, Miriam Kaufman has been a member of the advisory board of the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies at University College. She has been an enthusiastic partner in the program's growth from a small undergraduate minor to one of the leading research and teaching centres of its kind in the world. Her role is a natural fit with her professional commitment to counselling young people, and with her role as a public educator responding to the concerns of adolescents and their parents. Miriam helped launch the centre's mentorship program, and is a mentor in the program herself.
