As a Senior Executive Partner at Gartner Canada, Fariba offers tailored advice and guidance to C-level executives, helping them formulate and execute effective business and digital strategies. She works closely with leaders to deliver measurable value, aligning with their corporate objectives and ensuring professional success.

Before joining Gartner, Fariba held C-level positions at AcuteNet, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, Allstream, and Bell Nexxia. Since 2000, she has contributed her expertise to 15 boards and advisory committees, including those of Seneca College, St. Joseph's Health Centre, YMCA of Greater Toronto, Catholic Health Sponsors of Ontario, Dell Software, Teradata, the University of Toronto College of Electors, and several venture-funded investments. In 2018, she was appointed by the Treasury Board of Canada to the Audit Committee of the Board of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Fariba has been recognized for her volunteer efforts with the 2018 Ontario Volunteer Service Award from the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration and the University of Toronto’s Arbor Award in 2012. In 2007, she was named one of Canada's Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs and was shortlisted as one of Canada's Top 25 Immigrants.

Fariba holds an EMBA from the Rotman School of Management and a Computer Science degree from York University. She is a Certified Corporate Director (ICD.D), a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), and is Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

In memory of her late husband, Fariba supports the St. Michael's Hospital Urban Angel Fund, dedicated to enhancing facilities for families and caregivers of ICU patients. A passionate advocate for women's advancement since 2003, she has organized and spoken at numerous events and forums. Her hobbies include running, cycling, paddleboarding, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
