Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2013 recipient
Laura has enhanced the student experience at the Faculty of Information by organizing a number of "iTea" gatherings for students, including one on professional development. She helped to triple membership in the Children and Youth Advocacy Group and has served on several iSchool committees as well as the Life and Times Committee of the Master of Information Student Council. Laura has also been a volunteer for Epilepsy Toronto, Librarians without Borders, and the Children's Book Bank.
