Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2013 recipient
Gurveer is a research student at Credit Valley Hospital and has worked as an intern at Princess Margaret Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children while studying at UTM. Gurveer's volunteer activities include service with the U of T Health and Counselling Centre, the ALS Society of Ontario and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. He has also worked as a medical first responder for the Erindale College Special Emergency Response Team.
