Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2013 recipient
As co-president of NAUS, the largest undergraduate neuroscience union, Amirah has been instrumental in developing mentorship programs and founding the inaugural "Everything N" Undergraduate Neuroscience Conference. Off campus, she is VP Youth for the Canadian Libyan Council and involved with an overseas pen pal project which focuses on democracy and human rights.
