Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2011 recipient
Faculty of Physical Education and Health student Sonam Shah has focused her volunteer activities on improving the lives of the elderly, underprivileged youth and people suffering from illness. She has worked with the Physically Active Youth program in Namibia, and with the Faculty of Medicine's Centre for International Health. Sonam is also her class representative and she has also volunteered with several faculty-sponsored events including the Sport For Change conference and the Canadian Sport Film Festival.
