2011 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Margaret Saari's contributions to the Faculty of Nursing and the University of Toronto have extended into the community at large. Margaret has been the Nursing Undergraduate Society's delegate to the Canadian Nursing Students' Association for two years. She has also been the nursing liaison for the U of T chapter of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, where she has focused on the issue of patient safety. Margaret has spread the message about patient safety by organizing a talk for her fellow nursing students, and she has worked on a number of projects in the community.
