Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2011 recipient
As a doctoral student in the Faculty of Nursing, Kristine Newman has held a number of positions on the executive of the Graduate Nursing Student Society. She has represented the society on the Graduate Student Union and the Faculty Council, has been acting president and vice-president, and has been a graduate student mentor. Kristine has also organized a monthly statistics workshop for PhD students. She is an executive member of the Provincial Nurse Educators Interest Group.
