Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2011 recipient
Carina Chan has made contributions both on and off campus. She is a council member of the Faculty of Arts and Science Students' Union, is co-president of the Undergraduate Sociology Students' Union, as well as an executive with the U of T chapter of Peace by Peace, a student-run program that teaches conflict resolution skills to Grade 5 pupils. In the wider community, Carina has dedicated her time to various organizations that address youth issues.
