Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2009 recipient
Scott Jones has challenged his peers at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing to enact nursing values in their day-to-day lives on campus. He showed leadership through a well-organized and dynamic first year Nursing Undergraduate Society orientation. He has advocated for a positive student experience on the curriculum committee and organized his peers to respond collectively to challenges. Scott worked enthusiastically to create an engaging program, Globally Interested Nurses, to focus on global and aboriginal perspectives.
