2009 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

As a director of the Women's Centre at U of T Scarborough (UTSC), Lori Polito helped to established scholarships for students dedicated to improving the lives of women on campus and in the Scarborough area, led sexual health workshops and seminars, and assisted with anti-oppression workshops. As a member of the executive of Frontier College at UTSC, she helped start an after-school program at a local elementary school, organized literacy events and helped manage more than 50 student volunteers. She has also served as vice-president academics with the Scarborough Campus Student's Union.
