Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2009 recipient
New College student Lindsay Foster was a BMO National Scholar when admitted to the Faculty of Arts and Science from U of T's Transitional Year Programme (TYP). She volunteers as a peer mentor for new students and acts as their representative on the Family Care Office's Advisory Committee, as she balanced university life with raising five children. Lindsay is actively involved in Cocaine Anonymous, introducing 12-step meetings into women's drug and alcohol treatment centres.
