2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Since 2004, Yuvraj Joshi has been a leader in equity education across campus. While President of the Equity Studies Student Union, which is based at New College, Yuvraj brought together faculty and students from diverse U of T constituencies for a discussion series on social justice issues. In October, the University College major in equity studies and ethics, society and law organized “The Branding AIDS Conference” at New College. During the event, local and international academics and activists addressed members of the university and larger community.
