2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Tahmena Bokhari made a significant contribution to the Anti-Racist, Multicultural and Native Issues (AMNI) Centre in the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work by supporting the development of the new Student AMNI Committee. She has facilitated various workshops, such as the Pakistan Earthquake Seminar, a presentation at the Social Work Theories in Action Conference and workshops on “Disaster Relief, Community and Photography as Social Work Intervention.” Last year, as Vice-Chair of the Faculty Advisory Committee, Tahmena represented her fellow master's candidates on curriculum and program decisions.
