2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

In 2006, Raghav Gupta founded the U of T Mississauga Cricket Club. As President, he has encouraged interest in the sport, and now the club has more than 200 members. As the UTM Table Tennis Captain and Coordinator, the commerce and finance specialist led the team to tournaments across Ontario as well as organized intramural matches. Raghav's concern for global issues inspired him to volunteer as an International Ambassador with the MINGA Project. In this position, he helped raise $10,000 for a school in Guatemala. He was also a Peer Academic Leader for two years and a Residence Don in his fourth year.
