Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2008 recipient
Since joining Frontier College @ U of T Scarborough in 2006, Leah Ko has established an After School Homework and Mentorship Program at two local elementary schools. This school year, she is helping manage more than 70 student volunteers and seven community partners for Frontier College, Canada's oldest literacy organization. Leah is also a Student Coordinator for the Student Mentorship Program at U of T Scarborough. Recently, the English and history double-major co-founded the Leprosy Mission Canada Club on campus to increase awareness of individuals suffering from the disease.
