Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2008 recipient
With U of T Mississauga Residence Council, Laura Desveaux serves as a Community Representative and Student Advocate. Last school year, the member of the UTM basketball and volleyball teams was the Residence Gym Nights Coordinator, organizing athletic activities that drew the residence community together. In her leadership roles, Laura has earned much success by providing numerous opportunities for students to engage with their peers. This school year, the forensic anthropology specialist is an Invigilator for the AccessAbility Resource Centre.
