2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Jessica Parker was the University College Residence Council's first Equity Director. In this position, she organized an equity panel and financial equity forum. As the Political and Education Coordinator for LGBTOUT, the queer group on campus, Jessica facilitated anti-oppression training for drop-in centre volunteers and regular women-focused gatherings on campus. The anthropology major also served as the Women and Co-Ed Athletics Commissioner for UC's student council, helping to make athletics as welcoming as possible to all students.
