2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

As the Student Representative on the Student Affairs Committee in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, Isma Javed helped develop two new recruitment initiatives that led to a significant increase in the applicant pool and admissions acceptance rate. The master's candidate helped prepare a new recruitment brochure and organized recruitment activities to promote the profession in the community. Also in this role, the undergraduate in the Faculty of Medicine voices student concerns and develops strategies for creating a rewarding student experience.
