2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

With the Faculty of Information Studies (FIS), Christina Hwang has been an agent of change, creating forward-thinking initiatives, collaborative partnerships and creative projects. Under Christina's leadership as President of the FIS Student Council, the 2007 Orientation Week was nothing short of outstanding. The master's candidate also started several new social and cultural events. Last school year, Christina served as the council's Web Chair and Webmaster, spearheading a new student presence on the U of T website. For the larger U of T community, she has contributed to the Dean's Advisory Group and the Special Task Force on Student Issues.
