2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

With the University College Off-Campus Commission, Aneta Krakowski planned a variety of events which helped build a strong off-campus community. This school year, Aneta's peers elected her Upper-Year Off-Campus Representative on the college's Literary and Athletic Society. In this position, she connects first-year students who commute to campus with upper-year mentors and voices the concerns of the 80 per cent of University College students who live off campus. On the Orientation Week executive, the neuroscience specialist spearheaded “Coffee with the Profs,” which introduced incoming students to their professors before classes started.
