Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2008 recipient
As Treasurer and then President of the Graduate Astronomy Student Association, Adam Muzzin effectively lobbied for increased support for grad students. He also generously shared his knowledge with the public through lectures and by giving tours of U of T's David Dunlap Observatory, which houses the largest optical telescope in Canada. The PhD candidate in astronomy and astrophysics has also served on the Astronomy Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and the Canadian Astronomical Society Graduate Student Committee.
