Since 2012, Vene has been a core member of the University of Toronto Alumni Association (Hong Kong). She has contributed to the vibrant alumni community in Hong Kong by helping to organize the U of T Asia-Pacific Gala and the U of T Hong Kong Foundation 20th Anniversary Gala.
