2018 Arbor Award Recipients

Professor Cowper is co-creator of U of T's Reader Training Program. She has been a volunteer Reader since 2000 and lends her considerable expertise to training the team of University Readers, which has trained more than 100 Readers to date. She volunteers countless hours with this team in addition to her own preparation for reading and reviewing thousands of graduates' names. Not only does she read of names for her own school, but she also generously volunteers as a Reader for other divisions when required. Her meticulous pronunciation helps to ensure U of T's Convocation ceremonies flow seamlessly.
