For decades, Professor Rayside has been one of U of T's strongest advocates for LGBTQ rights and a dedicated fundraiser. Combining these two passions, he helped establish the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies, and has continued to actively support the Centre and the Department of Political Science since his retirement in 2013.
