Rumeet is a double nominee, championed by the University of Toronto Mississauga and the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She is an internationally recognized social entrepreneur – her company, Jobs in Education matches teachers with jobs in schools and universities. At OISE, she helped establish the Young Alumni Council. At UTM she is a frequent and popular keynote speaker and informal mentor, affecting hundreds of students through her kindness and generosity.
