Joy was such an exceptional volunteer at the Department of Speech-Language Pathology Alumni Association that she was a natural to take over as president. While the department is small, its alumni association is a busy one, organizing a lecture series and a graduation reception, and publishing a newsletter, among other activities. Joy has brought new energy and vision to all these tasks, demonstrating exceptional drive and leadership.
