The former Lieutenant Governor of Ontario has maintained a strong allegiance to the University of Toronto Scarborough. Today, David is a senior lecturer at Scarborough but even during his hectic term of office, he often came back to campus to talk to and mentor UTSC students, and to participate in alumni reunions. He has raised the campus’s consciousness on accessibility issues, and recently, he donated his papers to the UTSC Library.
